Our history

Established in Italy in 1985, Kemi® has been producing release agents, lubricants, anti-adhesives, colour pastes and technical solutions for the moulding and chemical industries for 40 years.
The search for state-of-the-art solutions, reliability and technical support are key quality objectives for the Kemi® staff.

Thanks to our formulation know-how and timely search for the best solutions, Kemi® is able to provide an optimal result to your moulding problems. Over the years, Kemi® has been able to grow throughout the world thanks to a skilled and active technical and sales team and the synergy with local partners and customers, at all stages of product development.

The company’s headquarters are located in San Pietro Mosezzo in the province of Novara – Italy, where our technical/sales teams and production facilities are located. In addition to our team, we work with a worldwide network of agents and distributors. Click here for the Kemi® sales network

The same philosophy that inspires the work of our entire European and worldwide network of agents and distributors is shared by our Brazilian subsidiary, established in 2009 with offices and production units in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Kemi® has always been committed to safety and environmental sustainability with the creation of solvent-free water-based products that answer the need to reduce VOC emissions in the air and are synonym of reliability, and environmental care.

At Kemi®, constant technological improvement is always combined with the search for products which are compatible with environmental protection and operator health. Continuous research into the use of solvents with a low environmental impact, introduction of high solid products, use of exclusively certified raw materials and closed-loop production facilities, allows us to guarantee quality and safety both from a production and application point of view. For more than 30 years, Kemi® products, sold under the Ecolease, Aqualube and Rubberlube brands, represent our concrete response to the need to VOC emission reduction.
