Please refer to each single description for further informations. Applications All The Applications Die-Casting These mould release agents are the result of KEMI most recent research over water based lubricants for die-casting. They have been developed in order to give an excellent release together with a very low build-up on the moulds. Their formulation is based on emulsions of syntethic polymers and lubricating oils with a high thermical resistance. Thanks to specific additives the film aquires properties that allow to eliminate completely the causes of metalization. Phenolic Resins In the production of interior parts for the automotive sector such as door panels, parcel shelves, headliners, etc., it is widely used the process of moulding of thin "mats" made out of cotton rags soaked with phenolic resin. Our release agents which go under the name FN are able to guarantee multiple releases and a high resistance to oxydation, with the consequent reduction of the build-up on the moulds. KEMI´s "FN series" are all water based products and therefore are NOT HARMFUL for the health and the environment. Reinforced Polyester From several years KEMI is offering a wide choice of traditional products for this application, such as solutions of polivinilic alcohol and solid wax paste release agents. Nevertheless, KEMI has recently developed an innovative "line" of high-tech semipermanent products allowing multiple releases and excellent look of the finished parts. Rotomoulding All products are based on water emulsions of synthetic polymers. They are used for the treatment of the moulds in the production of finished parts obtained with the technology of rotational moulding. Multiple releases can be obtained from a single application depending on the complexity of the mould´s design. TPR KEMI has set up an innovative technology for the anti-stick treatment of rubber granules. The liquid nature of the product eliminates completely the problems of dust in the working area due to the use of traditional powders. It is completely free from mineral charges and can be used both with dry and wet cutting systems.
